Autumn is officially here. There is a slight chill in the air, the leaves are just beginning to show off their festival of colors, and the sights and sounds of ‘Hallow-scream’ can be faintly heard in the distance, as Halloween decorations begin popping up in your neighborhood.
Decorating for Halloween has always been a little overwhelming for me. I think it’s because there are SO many choices. Do I want fiendishly frightful, or more pumpkin and nature inspired?
My decision ~ This year I am opting for a subtle blending of both, combining witches, ghosts, and goblins, with bales of hay and cornstalks, pumpkins and scarecrows, and some visually inspired spooky, but not too scary, Halloween music.
After the big night you simply remove all things Halloween, and what you are left with is your pumpkin and nature inspired, wonderfully bright leaf-strewn magnificence of the bountiful, and enchanting decorations of the Autumn season.
Check out these one of a kind DIY decorations that are sure to make you be the envy of your neighborhood.
